Pediatrics Unit

Clinical services

The Pediatrics Unit provides clinical services for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the most common pathologies in children. The unit operates daily outpatient clinics and bi-weekly day hospital clinics.

Prevention aims to reduce the risk of onset, spread and progression of diseases.

The main clinical activities are:

  • outpatient visits for the clinical classification of pediatric pathologies
  • Day hospital for the main bronchopulmonary, gastroenterological, nephrological, immuno-allergological pathologies
  • enuresis, incontinence, main kidney and urinary tract diseases (on Wednesdays)
  • neurodevelopmental disorders, autism spectrum and behavioral disorders in close collaboration with child psychologists and psychiatrists.

Services are provided through the NHS, private patient, and ‘Tariff Amica' special rate regimes.
