Dental I

Unit

Clinical activity

The Dental I clinic offers primary prevention and early therapy, in private regime, both for caries (notions of oral and food hygiene, dental sealing, prophylaxis) and for malocclusions by means of orthodontic therapy. Particular attention is paid to periodontics (treatment of diseases related to the teeth support apparatus: gums, periodontal ligament, alveolar bone).

The outpatient clinic performs second and third level prevention through conservative, prosthetic and orthodontic interceptive therapies:

  • Lingual and invisible orthodontics (with Invisaling technique)
  • Endodontics of single teeth with deep caries
  • Prosthetic rehabilitation of entire dental arches
  • Conservative therapies (filling)
  • Professional hygiene (tartar ablation)
  • Root Planing
  • Periodontal surgery
  • Orthodontic treatment of temporomandibular joint pathologies
  • Aesthetic prosthesis and prosthesis on implants

It also performs surgery for:

  • Simple and complex dental extractions
  • Removal of impacted and semi-impacted teeth or roots and root residue
  • Removal of cysts and small growths
  • Apicectomy (removal of the root apex of the tooth due to irreversible inflammatory processes, which can no longer be treated by non-surgical means)

  • Clinical evaluation of oral pathologies with particular attention to precancerous lesions
