The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Farnesina) and Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital of Rome started a collaboration on health care support for employees and diplomatic personnel of MAECI and their families. Following the Agreement, special rates are provided on consultations and diagnostic exams (including hospitalization rates) as well as participation in prevention and health education initiatives.
In the presence of the Secretary General of MAECI, Amb. Elisabetta Belloni, the Director General for Administration, Information Technology and Communications of MAECI, dott. Nicandro Cascardi, and the General Director of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital, Eng. Paolo Sormani signed the Official Agreement on October 2019. An important collaboration protocol was therefore launched within the “Health and Diplomacy” program, coordinated by Prof. Massimo Maria Caneva and directed for the medical side by Prof. Vincenzo Denaro, emeritus professor of Orthopedics of PUCBM.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Marta Risari, Vice General Manager of the University Hospital, by the Vice Director for Innovation and Research of MAECI and Sofia Diana, PR manager of the Hospital.
