Designed for subjects with recurrent gastrointestinal symptoms, the gastroenterology check-up allows a first clinical evaluation to be carried out by performing blood tests, instrumental examinations and a specialist examination aimed at identifying the correct diagnostic approach. Also recommended for people that are familiar with gastrointestinal tumours, especially from the age of 40, and for the prevention of colorectal cancer up to 75 years of age.
Times and methods
Gastroenterology check-up takes place in one morning and includes the following:
- Blood tests (blood glucose, CBC ESR kinetic method, GOT or AST, GPT or ALT, Gamma GT, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, total and fractional bilirubin, prothrombin time, partial thromboplastin time or aPTT, BUN, alpha-amylase, lipase, serum creatinine, chlorine, serum sodium, serum potassium, serum calcium)
- Urine analysis
- Stool occult blood test (three samples)
- Full abdominal ultrasound
- Gastroenterologic examination
Times and dates
The test can be performed with a booking on mondays to fridays, from 09.00 onwards. Detailed medical reports and test results are delivered before leaving the facility.
