Campus Bio-Medico Porta Pinciana Outpatient Clinic

An outpatient clinic in the centre of Rome

The Campus Bio-Medico Porta Pinciana Outpatient Clinic is located in the heart of Villa Borghese, just a few steps away from the central Via Veneto. The premises are easily accessible from the Piazza di Spagna Metro station or by car, by parking in the Villa Borghese car park, thus making the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital a reference point in the centre of Rome as well.

The Campus Bio-Medico Porta Pinciana Outpatient Clinic covers an area of over 850 square metres with a large waiting hall which allows patients to maintain an appropriate distance in application of current safety measures against the spread of COVID-19. A total of 10 outpatient clinics are equipped with the most modern clinical equipment for specialist examinations and minimally invasive surgery for those patients availing of private and health insurance schemes, with agreements with the main insurance companies and funds.

With these new facilities, the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital wants to be more responsive to the health needs of the population and to ensure a point of reference in the centre of the city of Rome.

The Campus Bio-Medico Porta Pinciana Outpatient Clinic thus becomes part of a wider system which was inaugurated in 1994 in Via Emilio Longoni, and that moved to the Trigoria site in 2008, and is characterised by the synergistic undertakings of healthcare, teaching and research activities.

The University Hospital is a non-profit hospital, an integral part of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, a non-state university founded in 1993 with the aim of creating a cultural project capable of reproducing the value of the person at the centre of biomedical science. It is located in the centre of a modern university campus in the Decima Malafede Nature Reserve, near Rome's Eur district. The range of services on offer is completed by the Health Care Centre for the Elderly (CESA) and the Palliative Care Centre “Insieme nella cura”, also in Trigoria, and the Cancer Radiotherapy Centre in the Prenestino district.
