The metabolic check-up is aimed at framing the state of health of a person who proposes to lose weight through a personalised diet or that is interested in regaining a nutritional balance and a correct lifestyle. Aimed at those who experience tiredness, irritability and insomnia, it is also recommended for menopausal women, to prevent any metabolic disorders.
Times and methods
The metabolic check-up takes place over two half-days. The first one is dedicated to appointments, instrumental examinations and laboratory analysis. Further investigations are carried out during the second one, during which the medical staff proceeds to the evaluation of the results and to the delivery of the reports.
It includes the following tests:
- Blood tests (Glucose curve, Insulin curve, PCR, Total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, Triglycerides, serum Albumin, BUN, serum Creatinine, Uric acid, GOT or AST, GPT or ALT, Gamma GT, CBC, Transferrin, TSH, FT4, Vitamin D, serum Sodium, serum Potassium, serum Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium)
- Food history, assessment of nutritional status and preparation of an individual diet plan
- Nutritional counseling
- Indirect calorimetry
- Impedance analysis
- Thyroid ultrasound
- Armband mounting (metabolic Holter)
- Physiatrist assessment
- Cardiac stress test
- Integrated endocrinologic assessment
Times and dates
Available with a booking on mondays from 08.00 onwards (first appointment), and on fridays (second appointment). Detailed medical reports and test results are delivered before leaving the facility.
