The Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital is a private hospital, covered by the National Health Service both for outpatient activities and for hospitalizations.

For reaching the University Hospital in Trigoria, you have to take the GRA exit n. 25 – Laurentina, direction Ardea - Policlinico Campus Bio-Medico. At the first roundabout take the first exit (Via di Vallerano). At the second roundabout, take the second exit (Via Álvaro del Portillo). Arrival after 2 km, at number 200. For reaching the CESA, then go on Via Álvaro del Portillo to number 5.

For inpatients, working day from 16:00 to 19:00 hrs, holiday from 12:00 to 14:00 hrs and from 16:00 to 19:00 hrs. For visiting the patients hospitalized to the Haematology Department, time scheduled are daily, 12:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 20:00 hrs. For the Intensive Care, instead, times scheduled are from 17:30 to 19:00 hrs every day. Children under 12 years are not allowed.

On page 'Where to stay' there is a list of accommodation facilities nearby the University Hospital and CESA, in Trigoria, and the Oncological Pole of Via Longoni, divided in Guest House, Bed & Breakfast, Cottages and Hotel and sorted by price.

For visitors there is a covered toll parking open every day, from 6:00 to 22:00 hrs. In addition to times indicated, user could contact the security personnel, through intercoms placed at the entrance/exit of parking lots.

 

Parking is free for up to 30 minutes, it costs € 1.50 for the first hour and € 1 for each additional hour (up to a daily maximum of 10 hours, equivalent to 10.50 euro). It is also possible buying a weekly ticket, which costs € 40,00 or a monthly one which costs of 100,00 €. A relative / visitor of a patient hospitalized as private has the daily parking for free.

Yes, they may be obtained from the information desk in the hall of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital. However, since they are in a limited number, it is recommended to those who own one to bring it along.

In Trigoria, floor 0 - Hall of the University Hospital, there is a point for the distribution of drugs needed for continuing the treatment, for the first cycle of treatment after discharge. The dispensary is open from 12:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday, and from 11:00am to 12:00am on Saturday.

At the headquarters in Via Longoni there is the Centre of Radiotherapy.

Since the emergency room is not active, to be admitted to the Campus Bio-Medico the patient must first undergo a specialist, both for admission under National Health Service and intramoenia. Then the physician of the structure will carefully evaluate an eventual hospitalization, taking into account the waiting lists, if the patient chooses to be admitted under National Health Service.

The transfer from one facility to another have to be requested from the hospital where the patient is located. Therefore, the patient has to contact the facility where he is under treatment which in turn will contact the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital.

The Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital directly accords with the structure of origin of patient. Therefore these information have to be requested to the structure which started the procedure of transfer.

The help desks for reservations, both under private/intramoenia/insured service and Health National Service/My-Hospital are at the 1 floor of the Campus Bio-Medico in Trigoria. For Health National Service/My-Hospital service, reservations are also available at help desks of the Centre for Health of the Elderly (CESA) – 0 Floor.

For private/intramoenia/insured procedure help desks are open from 9:00 to 20:00 hrs. For the Health National Service, help desks are open from 8:00 to 14:00 hrs and reservations can also be made at the Centre for Health of the Elderly (CESA), from 9:00 to 16:00 hrs.

The admission for appointments and examinations under the NHS and private / intramoenia service is located on level -1, accessible by escalator or elevator. Patients insured must instead come to the office dedicated, floor 0 - Hall of Campus Bio-Medico.

Help desks are always open at the same time of visits or examinations. It is advisable to go to the desk from one hour to half an hour before reservation time.

For hospitalization under the NHS you should contact the office for hospitalization admissions, floor 0 - Hall of Campus Bio-Medico. For hospitalization under private/intramoenia/insured service, the admission is on the 4th floor, accessible by wall elevators, over the escalators.

For hospitalization in Day Hospital (DH) and in Day Surgery (DS) admission is on the second floor of Campus Bio-Medico in Trigoria.
